Caught most of the fish on the north end of the lake doing this, lots of matted grass. Probably could of used braid and heavy action rod but this was my combo for the day.

The main key to catching the bigger bass in this lake was deep cranking the old pump house on the lake. The pump house is full of massive boulders and hard bottom across the point. Cranking the boulders or the transition line between the hard bottom and milfoil is how to get those couple key bites. Also paying attention to the baitfish around you was a good clue to the puzzle because of the timing of where the baitfish would sit around the boulders or weeds throughout the day.
