It was a nice warm front on that particular day. Air temps were mid-50s and the water temp went from high-40s to low-50s. Lot of crappie anglers out scoping every single brush pile or deep hole in the lake. We ended up fishing concrete bridge pilings with an A-Rig, flopping a trap off the bottom of deep holes, yo-yo blade baits, and throwing jerkbaits for suspended fish near drop offs. The deeper diving ones were better and the stunna being a slow sink worked well. Just the day or two before someone caught a 40+ musky on a jerkbait. Most predominant techniques were blade baits and jerkbaits on twitches and not herbs. There were still schools of baitfish roaming.
