Water was tanic. Cloudy most of day. Air temps 55-65 with breeze out of the south. Caught 22 bass mostly on the Black/Blue Senko both Texas rigged and Wacky style. Fish were staged at base of Cyprus Trees. You had to let the bait soak at times to get a bite.

When fishing in very stained water, a great approach is to flip cypress trees in 5 feet of water. Using a combination of hard and soft jerkbaits, as well as weightless plastics such as senkos, can be effective in this situation. Paragraph 2: To maximize your chances of catching fish, it's best to focus your efforts around the bases of the trees. This is where the fish are more likely to be holding, and where your baits will have the greatest impact. By following these tips, you'll be well on your way to a successful day on the water.
