The Lake is fishing good smallmouth are up shallow in the riprap and feeding on crawfish. They are easily caught on a swimjig with any trailer but I had my best results with a gambler EZ swimmer. The water is a little stained so black n blue has been the color to use. Water temps are low to mid 70s and fish are very active.

The largemouth were keyed in on big schools of bluegill roaming around deep weeds. The largemouth would use the point to corral the bluegills and feed in small windows. Fishing the wind blown section of the lake was also key to locating the bigger schools of bluegill and bass
