42 F, cold front, fished 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m., small fish were chasing pods of minnows over open water, biting on flicker shad cranks, silver, bigger fish holding off deep drops, but not biting, tried drop shots, jigs, tubes, but they were not interested.
