The smaller males have started to pull into the shallows in the smaller bays where the water has warmed up to almost 50 degrees. They was 100’s of bass and Bluegill under the float vegetation. Hit the pockets with a wacky worm in 6 inches to 4 feet of water. Bigger fish will be pulling up soon when that warm breaks 55 degrees.

Fish early in the spring are hiding in the many cribs Bass Lake has off most all secondary points. Flipping a non pegged Texas rigged Rage Craw or Rage Bug produced several good strikes. Pop the bait through the cribs to find the largemouth.
