Bart
Lower Prior Lake (MN)
Bart reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Neko Rigs technique and VMC Neko Hook on Lower Prior Lake. Additional comments from this report: "The bite on Prior Lake this year has been MAJOR hot or cold. If you hit them right, they've been eating really well around bluegill beds in 8 - 14 ft of water. A Neko Rig has been a really effective way to get them to bite with a lot of pressure and boat traffic on the lake. A jig worm with a 7" ribbontail worm as also been good."

Tim Blase
Coon Lake (MN)
When Coon is going it's a really fun lake to fish. You have to move around a lot and try different things to see what is working. In the summer I will typically start on offshore points keying on rock transitions. I have had my best success with neko rigs. Z-Man product have been good for me this year a neko rig. If the off shore stuff is not working I will pick up a frog and try to cover water till I run into them.

Additional comments from this report: "We got bass up to 4 lbs. on deep weed edges. The fish were in from the edge a few feet. Most bites came as you pulled the bait out of the weeds. Best bite was during the first few hours of the morning."

Fish Trap Lake (MN)
Omnia Community Member reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Neko Rigs technique and VMC Weedless Neko Hook on Fish Trap Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Had good luck dropping a wacky rigged 5" senko about 6"-12" inside the reed line edge. I used a couple quick jerks to keep the bait high until I crossed the reed edge, then let the bait fall skimming the tops of the weeds until about half way back to the boat. this method out produced every other tactic I worked that day."
Owner Sniper Finesse Hook

Devoe Lake (MI)
Omnia Community Member reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Neko Rigs technique and Owner Sniper Finesse Hook on Devoe Lake. Additional comments from this report: "This day was better than the previous outing. Went from 12-9. The first couple hours we had bites but nothing would commit to what we had on. Switched to fishing ledges and brush piles and started pulling them. Neko rigged ms craw, they wanted it near bottom and slow. Mushi bug they wanted free rigged and again on bottom. But did not care if it was slow or fast. The dinks were typically in the Lilly pads. While the bigger bass were right outside of them or on the ledges and drop offs. They wanted nothing to do with lipless or topwater The north section was our most productive. Went from group of Lilly pads to Lilly pads pulling fish from each one."

Slow dragging Neko rigged rage craws over rocks and stumps. "

Michael Rekas reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Neko Rigs technique and VMC Neko Hook on Cedar Lake (76). Additional comments from this report: "Flipping/casting a heavier Neko rig around the outside of dying pads produced good bites. Work the Neko rig slowly back to the bank hopping and dragging it. Let the fish eat, then just lean into them. If you set too quick you will miss a lot of fish. Good luck"
