I found 15+ bass on hard cover, primarily laydowns. There was also some chunk rock/brick in the water that proved to be productive. Nothing huge, but still a pull on the line. All in all fun day for the middle of the November from the yak!

Fish here are very active with the warm weather late in the year. Bass are still very shallow and sticking close to cover like submerged timber and stumps. Squarebill crankbaits are triggering a ton of reaction strikes and lipless crankbaits are also getting lots of strikes in the dirty water.

Bass are hanging out close to shore still with the warm weather recently. Fish are sticking close to cover like rocks and submerged timber. Squarebills and lipless crankbaits are working well.

Bass are in shallow to feed before the cold weather hits. Was able to find some small bass hanging out in submerged weeds waiting to ambush prey. All the bass close to shore seem to be smaller in size. They are hitting slow moving soft plastics like stick worms and creature baits.

Bass are staying shallow at Louisville State Recreation area right now. They are sticking close to cover and ambushing prey such as bluegill. Squarebill crankbaits were the ticket. Bouncing them off of submerged timber led to lots of reaction strikes. A medium speed retrieve was working best at the current water temperature.

Fish were relating to standing timber/flooded trees in 8-10ft. Bites would come after letting the jig sit on bottom for several seconds. The secondary action of the mop jig definitely seemed to make a difference. All bass had red lips

The water is really starting to cool off with water temps in the low 60s. Lots of the vegetation in the backwaters is dying off. I was able to find some pads that had some life left in them that were keeping the water clear and full of oxygen. There’s lots of young of the year shad in the system right now so I was doing everything I could to imitate those and it paid off with some beauty largies. Tight lines folks!
