Bite was slow. Found them staged on ledges and suspended. Slow sinking wacky worm seemed to be something fineness enough to get them to bite. Caught a 19”, 4lbs

Random wolf packs roaming open water and pushing bait up against swing banks and up onto points. Swim baits and glide baits imitating bait fish near the surface seemed to be exactly what they were looking for. They bit swim baits & glidebaits ranging from 5-7”

Bite has been tough the past few weeks. Water Temps fell below 70 deg starting this past weekend and now the bite is getting better. Megabass jerkbaits have been the hot bait this week. St. Croix 6 foot 10 inch med fast tip is my favorite rod for throwing jerkbaits. Paired with the Daiwa Zillion it's a very nice combo.

Caught within casting distance of the dock. I was in the boat but didn't really need to be. Bait was about 3' down in about 7' of water. Moderate retrieve with some stop-start.

Caught a whole mess of pickerels and a few bass mostly on a jerkbait worked quickly over vegetation that was still green and in the areas with boulders. Water was calm and saw a lot of surface action. Casting to them using a popper and a super fluke and landed a few that way as well.

Good day on the water, they were really keyed in on the jerkbait. Alot of fun!

Caught this one at the southern part of the lake. There is some nice submerged vegetation there, this is where we got our best bites.

Been fishing the Charles near BU and Harvard, fish have been concentrated in and around bridges, and tight to shade-lines. Try to be stealthy while fishing from the bank and pitch your jig to to the edge of the shade-lines. I've been keeping the retrieve simple with just a basic hopping/dragging retrieve. Work the shade-lines the same way with spook and make sure to follow up if they miss it!
