Today we caught about 15 fish doing just about everything. We started off pretty rough by only catching 3 fish in the first 3 hours, but after that it turned on. We went offshore and started cranking brush piles and we caught 8 fish including a 3.8 pound largemouth (in video), and a 3.24 pound spot (in picture). After that we started throwing topwater on a large grass flat and caught a 3.44, and 3.36 along with some smaller fish. Overall a great day and finished up with 17.28 pounds with our best 5.

Fishing lay downs at eufaula with a 7.5” worm has been very productive lately and producing good fish. Also a lip less crank bait or square bill around riff raft or really just about any rock you can find is also sure to get you bit. The fish have been pushing up shallower lately around and depths between 4-10 feet has been the most productive. However some good fish are still being caught running a Carolina rig around ledges in 15-25 feet deep or a deep diving crank bait.

Fishing the Lunkers end of Year Championship Tournament. Good bite on the Hybrid Hunter in the sweet shad color around boat docks. Hit the boat docks in Pataula Creek arm and ran the Hybid Hunter around the edges of the floating boat docks and around the front of fishing docks. Caught several nice ones including one over 4lbs.

So we fished the MLF BFL Regional on the one and only... Lake Eufala!!! Wasn't super excited to be back here as this fishery can be a VERY tough place to land... Last trip here we were out way deep but this tourney I couldn't really get comfortable in the "depths". I wound up staying shallow and fishing around the mats of grass located in the backs of creeks. I would parallel the mats and fish buzzbaits and even a popper alongside the mats and take advantage of fish that were set up under the mats ready to come blowing out and chase a bait... We caught the biggest fish of the entire tourney at 7.6 pounds... ON A POPPER!!!! It was awesome! Feel free to reach out with any and all questions!
