We fished the first Anglers in Action tourney last Saturday and the conditions were brutal! We battled ice in the guides and the reels the entire day. It was a 117 boat field and we ended up in 11th place and had Big Bass of the tourney. We stayed in the mid lake section from Spring branch to Aunts Creek and targeted fish in specific trees and brush. The water temp had dropped as was hovering around 47-48 degrees in most areas. All our fish came on small swimbaits and the A-rig. Electronics played a huge role for us as we really couldn’t get anything going up shallow where we could just go fishing.
