Sometimes bigger is better. The 3/4oz football head jig coupled up with a bulky 6"+ GP worm worked well to get decent sized fish to eat. Dragging it up the sides of reefs or dropoffs through the bluegill beds and rock clusters had the best results, either just outside or just inside the weed edge.
