Fairly light wind s I fished the final three hours of the day until dark. Fishing was kind of slow, but I got some quality bites along reed edges. I caught 8 bass total with best six weighing 17.63. Biggest was just under 4lbs.

It was beautiful Fall afternoon with intermittent light wind, perfect conditions for the buzzbait. Action wasn’t exactly fast, but when I found an active fish they crushed it. I only caught 6 bass and two of them were on the small side , the rest were over two and a half pounds with the biggest going 3.63lbs. I also caught several 24ish class pike.

I regret that I didn’t head out sooner on this beautiful afternoon. I didn’t start fishing until 5pm. The first place I got a bass was an inside turn close to where the reeds stop to the south on the NW side of the lake. It blasted the buzzbait almost immediately after it hit the water. I fished the area for another half hour getting a couple of pike. I decided to hit a spot close to some other reeds more center north. I got several bass, but they were all around a pound, so I headed to my juice to the North, except it was dead there. After about 15 minutes I pulled the plug and went back to the area I was previously. I caught several more bass and a few pike on the buzzbait I also got a couple of bass on a Big Blade Chatterbait with Z-Man Goat trailer. Big Bass was 3lbs and my best six bass weighed 13.42lbsZ. I got 9 bass and 8 pike for the trip. I fished the next day and all I got was one bass . No clue why they were shut down with the clouds and little bit of wind.
