6/4/22 Pt. 1 - The smallmouth are in full blown spawn mode and very aggressive on baits in their bed. While doing a guide trip for Xstream Bassin' Guide Service, we chased smallmouth for the first 4 hours and caught 30+ in the 1.5 - 3.5 range with our two biggest weighing in just under 4. Key bait was a TRD CrawZ in multiple colors. A rotation between green pumpkin, the deal, and greasy pawn worked best.

5/21/2022 - Absolute beat down on the pre spawn largemouth today. It seemed like it was every cast. I was burning a Rat L Trap over submerged vegetation in 4-7 feet of water. It was a bit windy and I had the most success on the weed beds closest to wind blown banks, but the key was to stay 50 - 60 yards off the bank in open water. 54 bass in only 4 hours made for non stop action and a very fun day.
