Walleye we're schooled in the bays on the east side of the lake. There was some stretches if milfoil starting to grow in 8-14' off the banks of the by. Walleyes seemed to be roaming up and down the grass and could be triggered slowly working a small Keitech on a 1/8oz ball head jig. We also were getting bigger fish off a Megabass 110+1 in the gg perch color.

Fishing has been a little tougher as fish spread out and water temps begin to cool but we are still finding good numbers of crappies and bluegills relating to offshore wood cover such as brush piles and cribs. The bigger fish we have been finding in at least 16 feet of water. A drop shot rig with either a crawler, leech or a small fathead seems to be the best way to put a bunch in the boat. Tight lines, go get hooked up!
