I went out on the lake on 05/05/22 just for a day trip with a buddy in his Jon Boat. The lake was between 70 and 75 degrees and had about 2 feet to 6 inches of visibility depending on which side of the lake you were on. It was overcast and rainy throughout much of the day with outside temperatures in the mid 70's. We were able to catch a best 5 bag weighing around 17 pounds of both largemouth and smallmouth by targeting submerged grass lines, rocky points, and buck brush with a chatterbait, a swim jig, and a buzzbait, primarily focusing on stretches of those types of cover with a good amount of wind on them. Overall it was a great day on the water and we probably caught close to 35 fish. Below I have attached a picture of one of the bigger ones I caught. As always thank you for reading my reports and tight lines!
