We fished the river on October 23rd and the 24th. We caught quality fish in any pocket directly off the river that had an abundance of shad. A buzzbait or spook got it done in the morning while a chatterbait and spinnerbait were the ticket once the sun got up. All in all it was a good weekend on the river.
