A few things I cannot include in this report as far as equipment go. I have a Cashion Icon BFS rod in a 6'8" Medium Light that is an exclusive from another site. This 6' 10" is the closest that Omnia has to it. The reel is an Ark Gravity BFS real that is not sold on Omnia fishing at the moment. Get one if you are looking for a GOOD BFS real at a fair price! I used the 6th Sense Pecos underspin with the Keitech Easy Shiner as stated. The Keitech baits in this 2" size are key, as they are actively feeding on them now and bulking up to spawn. However, they are short striking the bait and ripping off the boot tail. So, durability is an issue with these Keitech baits. Hooked into a few larger fish and didn't get the proper hook set. Needless to say, I was reeling and they had other plans. Never got to see them, but they were stripping off drag like crazy as if I wasn't even a concern for them. Fish that were Much larger than this pic. Anyway, took a lunch break and made a few casts. Water is still VERY, VERY, low. They have been stocking shad in this lake as of late to help give these fish more forage than just the bluegill. Seems to be working.

Took a while to figure out what they wanted to eat but finally did it. Caught 5-6 about the same size along with some smaller ones as well. Was a good day for only being out about 4 hours. Windy conditions and was around 55 degrees. Then turned off cold with rain before calling it a day.

Always seem to do good here with the bandit 200. The model I use isn’t shown. It is called a “splatterback”. It is a crappie profile. The actual bait is shown next to one of the fish. I have found that on this body of water it has a large white crappie population. Bass feed on the crappie and the crappie feed on the bass fry in the spring after hatch. It is an ongoing cycle it seems. Water is getting colder and I was burning this through the water on the faster 8.1.1 reel and not the 7.1 to get reaction bites close to the shoreline after they followed it in.
