Fished tournament of champions for my summer league on September 12th 2021 (Weather was beautiful, Small amount of wind, high sun). Caught one of the best limits of our year. Skip a jig deep under docks. Best fishing was the first bay as you come out from under the bridge from transitioning from south center to north center, we lost the fish that would of won us the tournament in this very bay. Stealth Feider jig in 3/8 oz Money craw did best paired with Googan Baits Bama bug Krackin craw. Biggest fish came from the area highlighted in picture.

Fishing Opener 2020 was a typical opener with cooler temps mixed with wind and rain here and there. Water temp was 52-54 degrees, down from 60 degrees a week earlier. Pike (and Bass) all seemed to be in deeper water and were not interested in flashy presentations like spoons or spinnerbaits. Instead most of the hits came on a shallow running stickbait trolled between 7 and 11 feet just outside the weedlines and at a speed of 2-3.5mph.
