Baby bass and bluegills were hugging the shallows, eating tadpoles. Caught a few bass close to the bank, but I was looking for the big ones. Started to cast further out and after a few minutes, I landed this really nice 3 lb bass. The water was stained and the bottom full of muck. I knew a Texas rig would just gather clumps, so a Wacky rig was the better choice. In south Florida, junebug (purple/Emerald flake) is a good producer of bites.
