Bluegill are one of the funnest fish to catch below the ice. Get away from the crowds and drill out a area and find some fish. Tip your Bullfly jig with a wax worm or a Maggot and drop it down into the school of fish and always keep your bait moving. If you just have lookers jig slowly and raise your bait very slowly and play keep away and just keep raising your bait tell they stop following or they go back down. Good Luck!

Mid Winter Ice Crappies, Look for structure close to a basin area and use your electronics to locate a school of active fish. Use a minnow head or a waxie and drop down to them. If they are finicky drop down to them and jig your spoon as you pull up, play keep away. Tip the minnow on the spoon on the back side in the middle, if you need to take the hook off and turn it around so it is. The bigger Crappies are normally tords the bottom of the school.
