Did well during an Omnia Fishing-sponsored kayak bass tourney fishing where Six Mile Creek enters Lake Mendota.

I fished a kayak bass tournament with the Wisconsin kayak fishing club on the 24th. The water on the main lake was cold at 44 degrees. Never found the fish except for one pike in about 8 fow. People in boats reported good action in shallow before the cold front.

We had our WKFC Tournament on the Madison Chain April 24, 2021. 23 out of 40 anglers did not post a catch, including me. The water was sub 50 degrees where I fished most of the day. The water was clear down to 8". I tried bladed baits, cranks and a variety of finesse styles. Nada, zippo, nothing! The warm weather this week should change things!
