Turn over really not happening yet and water is still warm. Focused on main lake points holding bait balls, points with a ledge or wood held the best bass. Three square bills shallow and brought them out to deeper water. Ledges around 10 foot depth with stumps in the shallows worked best. Also worked some hard structures along bridges catching small large mouth feeding on thumbnail shad.

Beating the banks and finding grass pocket. L bills from Strike King and 6 Sense were hot. We found a few pockets chocked with submerged vegetation and we had to switch to swim baits with under spins. Great numbers today not great size but we had a few 3-5 pounders.

Lake level is 5ft+ low, with good visibility 1-2ft, water temps ranging from 79-82 degrees. Fish are scattered with some moving into the first 2/3 of the coves and main lake pockets. Bank fish can be caught using shallow diving crankbaits and topwaters in the 2-6ft range. Most unders are being caught offshore on main lake points in 10-12ft. Drop shots over cover has been working best. The larger slot fish are scattered as well with some being caught deep cranking on points and the dam in 15-20ft of water.

The lake is still down. The water temp is around 70. Saw some Shad in shallow but couldn’t get bit. Bellows Gill 3.8 with Hayabusa WRM959 EWG hook and Deep Crankbait worked well on deeper water. Hayabusa TBL930 treble hook helped to land this big fish on a crankbait! Ok
