Fished Lake Eva yesterday afternoon (4/28/22), it was warm, sunny and windy. I fished here the week before and found some fish on a weed line right before dark, I went back to see if they were still there and they were. I was using the side scan to follow the weedline down the lake since it’s in about 8-10 feet of water, but comes up almost to the surface. Boat positioning was tough with the wind, but almost every cast in the right spot was a bite. I probably caught thirty, up to about five pounds. I did have to switch colors a few times as I was running out of worms. Watermelon red seemed to work the best, but green pumpkin worked too. It was my best three hours of fishing so far this year.
