I pitched the CJ Flip into some hydrilla stretches and worked it through. The jig comes through nice and clean. I’ve got a MaxScent Chigger Craw in black as the trailer. It gives it a nice contrast. As I pull it through the hydrilla I would kill it from time to time. On the pause I felt a slight thump and the bass was on! I have also caught bass pitching this on the outside of a weed line and drag it on the bottom. I will also use a hop technique with long pauses in between hops. It’s a fun way to catch them and the jig is top notch!

I rigged the Senko Mojo style and started fishing along the rip rap and a bit of grass. I let it sit on the bottom for 8 seconds, then I did a hard twitch…twitch and let sit for 8 sec. That lure is tough to beat!
