Found a shallow rock point, and cranked it with a fritside 5 and caught some decent 2.5 - 3.5 lb fish. Also caught fish with a wacky rig once the cranking bite slowed down.

Fish are moving toward shallow water to make beds ready for spawning. Docks are great places to start fishing as they afford cover and protection from overhead predators. Allow bait to settle to bottom and shake on limp line to provide movement to the worm without moving the jig head. Fish will pick up the bait and start swimming away. Allow fish to move bait on toned line and when you feel weight pull back moderately to set the hook and reel fish in. Setting the hook fast and hard may result in loss of fish as fish may not have bait properly to allow hook set. Good Luck
