This kayak tournament was tough for me due to only catching 3 fish the whole day and only submitting 2 of the 3. One of which jumped off the board. All but one came off flipping a Missile baits D Bomb in Black Red flake and Brusier flash. I had to fish around the entire cypress tree to get the few bites I got through out the day. A must is the new Shimano Mastiff FC. I was using 18lb test and it was doing wonders with the abrasion resistance and low stretch allowed me to fish the heaviest cover without going to braid.
