Stopped right at sunset by brook/lake confluence fan casting area across channel/lake transition towards end of point. Bottom cover in area included rocks and grass patches. Worked swimbait back on medium speed retrieve with gentle pulses added by twitching rod tip. Connected with several smallmouth, most going airborne and throwing jig/swimbait. Ended up landing two, one a little over 12" and the second in the photo before mosquitoes drove me off.
