Bass were deep back in cuts up against the rip rap roaming. Strikes all seemed reactionary when the bait was dropped in front of them. Neko did amazing at getting this strikes. One took a dark sleeper but worms worked best. Fish must be setting up for spawn. Look for warmest water in the backs of every cut or marina.

Fish were beginning to start staging. Lots of roaming around the main lake. Those in shallow were not interested in biting. But you could get bit out in main lake 12-20fow where sheet rock and boulders meet. Small swim baits were the ticket Sllllooooowwwww rolled back. Didn’t catch a fish smaller than 3lb! Lots of 4-5lb

Bass were moving up to begin spawn. A lot of roamers back in bays and cuts close to shore. The biting fish were off shore in 12-20 fow where sheet rock meets boulders. Make the farthest cast possible and sloooooowly reel small swimbaits back. Didn’t catch a fish smaller than 3.5lb. Big fish like very small finesse baits in door co!
