The weather is crazy and the main body was just too crazy this day, so I walked up and spent a couple hours at Avery's Pond, just above Rattlesnake Bar. What a gem! I was casting out to the middle and slowly popping the Strike King Game Hawg back to the shoreline. Beautiful day out there! Thank you Strike King! This is my 2nd time using the Bellows Gill and I love them. It's incredible how they flutter through the water. It was a fairly muddy/mossy bottom where I was at, so I was slow retrieving/twitching it just off the bottom, and the bass just couldn't lay off of it. But I've also bounced it off the bottom and that's deadly as well.
