Fish are moving off of the beds and pulling tight to the closest hard cover. Any wood cover I pitched to near spawning areas had a fish on it. Shad spawns in the mornings make for a fun bite also!

Several good fish coming off of secondary points in bays. They wanted the bait burned by them to get them to eat though. Fishing slow was not an option to get bit. The Shimano mastiff fc has held up well for all techniques I have tried it with and this was no exception. All of my fish were on a lipless in 2-4ft.
