We focused on areas where the clay bank was ending and rocks started as well as lay downs about mid way back towards the creeks. Bait was sitting on the edge of the drop offs with the bass under them. Cast the bait up to the bank and let it hit the bottom. Begin slowly reeling the bait in allowing it to stay in contact with the bottom. Water Clarity - 10” Water Temp - 50° Wind - 12-15mph

First thing in the morning we found bait being chased in the ditches, but couldn’t get them to commit to anything. We tried jerkbait, paddle tails and blade baits. Once the sun was over the trees the fished moved to the ledges and wanted everything super slow. We caught majority of the fish on a bed rig, but caught them on a jig as well as a shaky head. The jig used was a Chattahoochee Jig in green pumpkin with a little bit of orange. The key thing was staying off the bank a good ways and casting up to the bank and slowly dragging the bait down to around 20’ and it would get hit. Air temp - 24° - 48° Water temp - 43° - 49° Sunny day Winds - 5mph Water clarity - 1’ - 2’ (in areas we fished)
