A cold front moved in and water temperatures were falling. The sky was overcast and the wind was 15 mph with gusts to 25mph. Found bass in 1’-3’ of water near reeds with underwater brush and submerged grass. The bite was aggressive and super shallow or right against the reeds.

Okay guys a little crash course for big swimbaits. Water temps are 55 and climbing through the day with slightly stained water. About 4” of visibility. I stuck with the magdraft for most of the day and focused on the main lake areas what has little contour. Most of the lake is pretty barren with minimal amounts of channels or ditches. The bass were pushing bait up to the surface and I used my forward facing sonar to pin point them and make the cast on their heads. You don’t have to absolutely rip their heads off with the magdraft so a steady sweep of the rod will do the trick! Good luck!
