The YUM Spine Craw is built for speed with a compact body and a tight, rapid movement through the water. This 3.75-inch craw features angled appendages (spines) along the body that serve two purposes. First, they displace more water to trigger a fish's lateral line system, triggering a predatory instinct in big bass. Secondly, they slow the Spine Craw’s descent through the water column - which allows more time for bass to grab your bait on the fall, or allows anglers to use a heavier weight when flipping for more accuracy and reaction bite triggering. But the Spine Craw isn’t just a great Texas-Rigged flipping bait, it has proven to be an outstanding jig trailer for shallow flipping or offshore dragging, and also hunts down big bass on the business end of a Carolina Rig as well.
