Built from scratch to match the requirements of veteran swimbait anglers, the Savant allows easy fishing of 1 to 4 oz hard-bodied, treble hook swimbaits to be target casted with the right amount of load and roll for surprising forgiveness to keep fish hooked all the way back to the boat. At 7'9", the Savant fishes more like a smaller crankbait rod would, but it can handle the increasingly large swimbaits and glide baits that have come to dominate the world of trophy bass hunting.
