Daiwa ISLA AGS Inshore Spinning Rods

Bred specifically for inshore fishing, but able to handle hard-pulling freshwater fish as well, the new Daiwa ISLA AGS Inshore Spinning Rods deliver a lightweight, perfectly balanced construction that stands up to big fish. These rods are fitted with premium cork handles & AGS guides. Daiwa ISLA AGS Inshore Spinning Rods are also built with markers along the rod that help indicate legal fish lengths on certain inshore species. The key feature is the use of AGS guides that weigh a mere fraction of the weight of traditional guides (40% lighter than an equivalent-sized titanium guide). AGS guides feature a solid carbon fiber frame construction that minimizes weight, improves casting distance and performance, and delivers faster rod speed, reduced rod vibration and angler fatigue, and greater rod sensitivity. The ISLA AGS rods feature HVF Nanoplus, which uses nano resin control technology in the blank construction process, allowing increased graphite density within a graphite rod blank. Daiwa's X45 technology eliminates blank twist and increases power, and features a Bias Wrap Construction, left/right 45-degree carbon weave within the blank. X45 radically improves rod strength and durability by eliminating twist and preventing the blank from losing its round form, resulting in a lighter, stronger, more powerful, and sensitive rod in the new Daiwa ISLA AGS.
