Daiwa BLX Bass Casting Rods

The Daiwa BLX rods are the culmination of years of fishing rod development and the latest in Daiwa Rod Technologies. A complete renewal of the classic Black Label line, these rods are designed and constructed with 2 different concepts in mind: sensitivity and limberness. The SG or Sensitive Graphite models are well suited for worms, jigs, and dropshot - techniques that demand sensitivity, feel, and faster actions. The LG or Limber Graphite models are designed for crankbaits, jerkbaits, bladed jigs, and more. The limber bend utilizes a blank formulation that has the properties and strength of fiberglass without the traditional size and weight. Nanoplus HVF Carbon Technology reinforces the blank through a micro-level arrangement of material in the plastic resin, creating a smaller, lighter, and more rigid blank. The use of Daiwa's 3DX Honeycomb Structure of the blank enhances compression with a high recovering force balanced 360° around the blank, creating a multi-directional cross wrap to eliminate blank twist and collapse while increasing power. The X-45 Bias Construction has greater strength and prevents twisting for more precise casting and proven hooksetting power. No expense is spared with the use of Fuji SIC Guides, which are state of the art in the industry in performance, strength, and sensitivity. The result? One top-end rod from Daiwa in the BLX series. 

Daiwa BLX Bass Casting Rod Features:

• 3DX:  3DX supports the lower power section of the rod by knitting densely packed carbon fibers in 3 directions to achieve a six wrap rectangular weave. Power through the blank under load is distributed evenly in all directions allowing it to maintain its profile and form. This process confines the rod’s power to the lower section of the rod, increases power, and eliminates blank twist and collapse, all the while reducing angler fatigue.
• HVF Nanoplus: Through the use of nano resin control technology in the blank construction process, Nanoplus allows for increase graphite density to be achieved within a graphite rod blank.
• X45:  Developed to eliminate blank twist and increase power, X45 features a Bias Wrap Construction, left/right 45-degree carbon weave within the blank. X45 radically improves rod strength and durability by eliminating twist and preventing the blank from losing its round form. The elimination of this twist allows for a lighter, stronger and more powerful, and sensitive rod.
