What's up everybody? Here's a just slanted that is pretty cool. It is a little minnow-centric. Imagine that. But we got a couple other things outside of that rolling minnow kind of thing and that is the snappy crappy.
The snappy crappy from Duot Realis here. This is like a smaller swim bait. Very realistic life-like action to this bait. I got to watch some videos on it which put us over the edge on actually buying these things.
There's an old school version of a bait like this I used to fish a lot of so I'm going to get a new version of it. This thing can be burned at any retrieval speed and it will have like a life-like swimming action.
So pretty cool bait there from Duot Realis if you're into sort of that smaller swim bait stuff. Next up we'll do some rods. How about a $70 rod from Diawa called the Fuego. If you're not familiar with the Fuego, it's always been in the reel world. One of the best values out there whether in casting or spinning.
Really the spinning reel is what has tons and tons and tons of fans. It's being one of the best bang for your buck spinning reels in the market. Now they have some rods to go with them, casting and spinning. Great price points on these.
We've been impressed with the casting rods a bunch here. The spinning rods have not been able to fish them yet but I do like the reel seats on them. They are comfy to hang on to. Blanks are insanely thin on these.
Very different than previous generation Fuego rods or even a lot of the blanks from a lot of the Diawa rods. The whole family. So very unique product offering from Diawa here. Love the colors on it. They look cool. If you're in for some budget rods you need to check these out.
Complete opposite of that. Let's go with depth gain element. We knew that we would be adding some models to this series of rods because the first one was extremely light powered. It was like a 6.5 light action I believe. Really really light power but it was fore thrown two to four inch minnows.
This is where you get into that four, five, six inch minnow here with medium light power and a 6.6. This one does have quite a bit more backbone than the other one. Still pretty light powered but it is designed for that shaking and paying a minnow.
Unshaking your minnow. SIC guides on these. They are a two piece at the handle right here. Like a lot of high-end Japanese rods are. So don't be surprised by that. It comes in a case and they are separate but it does remain the blank in one piece that you're fishing with.
There's no joint or anything like that in the blank for the actual action of the blank. I'm a fan of that process. I think that we'll see more of that in the future. I know a lot of rod purists don't think that's a good idea but I got news for you.
Being in someone that ships rods all over the country, I will bet you we see more and more of this over time because it doesn't affect the performance of the rods whatsoever having the blank all in one piece that's the fishable portion anyway.
Next up let's go through some stuff that's very highly in demand right now and that would be this stuff here. This is a powdered scent from Japan. We have two versions of it. We have a blue fleck version and then this version as well here. This is from Zappu.
This is the Wagasaki powder. You guys have probably seen a lot of this stuff in the tournament world. The Japanese anglers are using this stuff. We did put some in a couple bags of plastics and squish it all in and then throw them in the tank and you see this cloud disbursement from it.
Insert that here. It is pretty cool stuff. Obviously this stuff's been rocking the tournament world. It's been tough to get our hands on in quantities anyway. It's just been personal use stuff we've been able to get the amount of so pretty excited to have some of this.
It's going to be gone real fast. I wouldn't be surprised by the time you even see this video. I think these got scanned in today or yesterday that these are going to be gone but look for us to get more powders and more of this powder in stock.
This stuff is the real deal. If you're a scent person obviously you're going to have faith in this but if you're not even I have some friends that are not scent people that have been after this stuff because seeing what it does in the water, how it disperses it and seeing the results from tournament anglers that are using this stuff.
