Mega Bass Bander Snatch, another cool name, garage from the Orochi 10X line or X10 line, however you want to say it. This is a new rod series for Mega Bass for us here anyway, I'm new fishing. This one is not just carbon fiber makeup, but it's also got organic materials in the blank. So a plant-based material to replace some of those plastics that are previously used in a lot of the carbon or graphite make-ups of blanks, so pretty cool stuff there from Mega Bass to try some different materials. This one here is a seven-foot rod with a medium power and a regular taper, a medium-fast action. So it's designed specifically for moving baits, like a spinner bait, like a chatter bait, like a swim jig, things like that. Like I said, cool name with the Bander Snatch there. This rod feels a lot lighter than it came out. It came in at 4.3 ounces, which is light. Feels lighter than that though. I have been playing with a lot of the bigger models lately, so that might be a lot of it, but this thing does feel really good. I'm growing quite fond of the real seats on these. They're comfortable for me the way I call them a reel. So been a big fan of these so far, especially after bending them on the wall. Bending them on the floor has not been telling the stories on this. I know I'm saying that because I have access to this wall, but it's been very true. It's been a little different feeling from the floor over the wall. So let's go bend the 7-foot medium power regular fast action or moderate action Bander Snatch. 7-foot medium power regular action Bander Snatch. I can't get enough of saying that name Bander Snatch. Sounds like a cool name for a rod. And this thing is definitely regular action or moderate action. So different than the Swamp Survivor that was listed with the same action, this one's a little slower and taper than that one even was. Definitely a lot less tip in this one. This one wants to load right up all the way down the blank when you hit it, but it's got a little bit more power than I felt like it had been on the floor. Hence why I think they said swim jig and spinner bait. Typically I don't like a really soft spinner bait rod, not as soft as I'd like it in a chatter bait. I like to hit him a little harder I guess to the spinner bait a lot of times. This would be an awesome spinner bait rod. I have really awesome swim jig rod even any of that stuff, especially with a low stretch line. This would be a perfect rod for those applications. And it is moderate enough to absolutely fish a chatter bait. And if you're one of those people that doesn't like glass rods or chatter baits , this would be a killer rod for that. Especially in close quarters with it only being a 7-footer. And it's got plenty of power to clear grass off it and everything like that. 4.3 ounces as I mentioned earlier on this rod, it feels lighter than that. It honestly does. A lot of these rods I've been told by the mega bass guys that have been fishing these rods for a while are rods they say you got to get out of the water and try some of these. I think it's going to be like a word of mouth thing over time. Of people are going to find their favorites in this and really express it. There's a few models you pick up that feel really special. I'm betting you this one becomes one of the more popular models. I don't know why it just feels like right as can be. If you're in the market for a shorter, I know shorts for a lot of people not 7- foot, but a 7-foot moving bait rod, what I would call close quarters moving bait rod, check this thing out. The 7-foot medium power, medium fast action, bander snatch.
