What's up everybody, Joe from Omnia here and we have just landed from Japan, RAID Japan, softbaits. This is a JDM style brand highly sought after by more of the elite shoppers in our experience here, but now we have them available for everyone at the store at omniafishing.com. And right now I'm going to go over four varieties we have from RAID. We do have more on the way. So be sure you wait for that in the future.
But first we have the Fish Roller minnow. This is a four inch style minnow bait. As you can see here, super realistic. What makes this a great option here is that it has a very wide head design. So it's going to be very good for rigging on a jig head. So any of you people who are into that livescope fishing, hover strolling, mid-strolling for suspended bass, this is going to be a perfect option for you. Um, it also has similar to another bait and raids lineup. We'll talk about later. There's an air pocket inside of this bait. So if you actually squeeze it, you can feel that little hollow spot in there. It's going to help this bait really suspend more in the water column. So when even if you're using a heavier jig head, it's not going to rocket to the bottom quite as fast. And when you're hovering it and switching it back to the boat, that wider head is going to grab the water and kind of slow it down on the way to the back to the boat, making it more efficient for you to target those suspended fish. Like I said, great for a jig head or great also too on a drop shot to very life like, minnow style presentation here.
Next we have the Little Sweeper. It comes in a much smaller size around three inches. Um, this is also going to be an awesome style of bait, incredibly unique here, as you'll see for that suspended style fishing. Very, very finesse swimbaits. So this, as you can see from the top down view, they have these fins on the sides here, those stabilizer fins, they're really going to make it so that bait kind of hovers and twitches nicely in the water column, super realistic. Again, having that air pocket in the middle here, that's going to be great for helping it kind of get the most out of every cast where you're keeping that bait perfectly in the strike zone every single time all the way back to the boat. Make sure you check these out if you're into that hover strolling super finesse technique here for those suspended fish.
Next we have a dramatic shift from the more suspended fishing, finesse style presentation to a straight power fishing bait. This is the Egu Chunk. This thing is a beast. So this thing is super dense, very, very floppy ribs here, floppy tails, heavy on the end. You're going to get a lot of kicking action out of a bait that looks pretty unassuming. There isn't that wild kicking action like you might see in a rage style bait, but it's going to have a good swaying action. Awesome for flipping and pitching, Carolina rig, a free rig option. And of course, if you're looking for that oversized chunk style jig trailer, make sure you check this one out from RAID.
Lastly, we have one of the most popular options from RAID and these are coming in more colors and sizes on the way, but right now we have the micro and the 2way, the micro and the regular 2way from RAID. Very unique, very cool looking bait. This is going to be one that you'll want to, um, in my opinion, rig straight through the middle in this little bubble here, um, to get that kind of miniature wacky style action with these little appendages on the side. Um, really going to draw fish in really going to be a great. All purpose bait fish imitator, whether you're on a lake with bluegills or shad or crappie, whatever it is, this thing is kind of that unique style bait that can cover the gamut of smaller presentations. Great for potentially forward facing sonar. If you're looking for another option besides a minnow style bait to kind of on a light jig head or maybe just a plain hook, let that thing fall down and twitch it above the fish's head. A really cool option from RAID. Make sure you check out all the soft baits from RAID Japan on the Omnia Fishing website and look out for more on the way. Go catch them. (upbeat music)
