What's up everybody? Wouldn't be a normal week around here if we weren't talking about pinging a minnow, rolling a minnow, mid-strolling, hover strolling, something to do with forward-facing sonar and jig heads and minnows. As you see here, this is a raid fish roller new to us as of today. They actually showed up, I think just before the weekend here, some of you found them already. This is the new Superfish Roller and a 6.5" version. This one is a little different than the smaller one. It actually has scales molded into the body here. It smells quite a bit different. It's quite pungent. I don't know if the fish are dragging smell or the plastis all they use, but this one we will get some footage of it and the tank here is a much bigger version of the smaller fish roller, which honestly I like a lot better. I've had better luck myself with 5" plus versions. Obviously the small ones are great for horizontal presentations or really, really tough bites and things like that, but I think it's still been pretty secret for a lot of the term in English out there that a lot of the better quality fish catches are coming on the larger minnows hence the success of the Sakamada Shad and the 5, 6, and 7" versions. If you 're looking for a way to rig them, which I know is a number one way, number one question we're going to get asked is what terminal goes in conjunction with the bigger minnows. That's why I keep touching on this thing. The LG version of the Horizon Head features this EWG hook in it so you can run some stouter line, stouter rods, and fish around cover with these things so you can fish over. If you're fishing for bigger fish around, even for what we'd have here in Minnesota, if it was like Coon-Tail offshore or something like that and I wanted a hook of bigger fish on Spinning Rod, this hook gives you the ability to give some pressure to that fish. Obviously you just got a much bigger hook in a bigger bait here. Then most little ball head jigs are going to have a little small round bend hook in them so make sure you add those Horizon heads and the LG versions whether it 's the weed list or the non weed list if you're going to get minnows this big, but happy shopping. Go get yourself some much bigger minnows and get yourself much bigger bites. A raid super fish roller.
