Two things we seem to never stop talking about around here are scoping, pinging them in all, and BFS. BFS being a little bit different, right? It's not been adopted completely by your tournament anglers, but it's certainly adopted by a lot of anglers out there that are just fishing, having some fun with it. I will say I did just spend some time on Lake Hartwell with a bunch of the pros, and there was a couple of them there that had some BFS stuff on their deck. So I think we're starting to slowly see that bait finesse system get implemented by your tournament anglers. And if you're not familiar with BFS, what rock have you been living under? But if you aren't, it's basically using spinning tackle with casting equipment, and cash and rods, that's right, you can see that by the made in the USA here, has a BFS rod we just added to the site here in their element series. These are easily indicated by the core candles that typically their rods are known for having that carbon mesh material. These ones are core candle. These are extremely aggressive price points for American made rods. They're definitely worth checking out. This brand has been growing with us quite a bit. Very good stuff here. This one happens to be a 610 medium light fast action. So it's a light enough power that you can fish that six pound test in the BFS weight line. So you can do your Ned Regan. You can throw the little tiny plugs that they're throwing of BFS, now little tiny top waters, all that stuff. Basically spinning rod tackle, you can throw on a baitcaster. So if you're in the market for that, you want an American made B FS rod. So here's a technique coming from Japan systems that are originated in Japan. But now you get a US made rod for it. That's pretty cool stuff here from our friends at cash and go check that out. Next, back to the old talk about pinging a minnow scoping. This is the Mega Bass Destroyer P5 Kira Sami. We asked for this rod specifically because of the popularity of sc oping. I was in Japan and I actually got to see what rods were getting implemented for the technique of live scoping and shaking a minnow, mid-strolling hover rig, hover strolling however you want to say it. And a lot of them, probably the king of it over there, the Prince of fishing in Japan there, Koio Fujita is using a 6.5 light power with a stinger tip. This one here is a 6 .5 medium heavy with a stinger tip, with a solid tip. So the carbon tip is solid, it's not hollow like the rest of the blank is. So it gives you an extreme action on the tip of the rod. Very similar to what you see from an ice fishing rod, like with a quick tip. So pretty cool stuff. What this allows you to do is, I got this light little 6 foot 5 rod, but I can set the hook with a big minnow and a big jig hook from far away and put lots of power on that fish. I can fish that jig in a minnow over a cover, like a brush pile or something like that. And not worry about this little light power rod that fish just taking me into that piece of structure. I can actually put pressure on them and get them away. But I'm still fishing with a light enough tool that I can finesse fish and impart a little bit of action on a tiny little minnow. It's pretty cool stuff. It's a unique technique and now it's got rods for it that are actually shining at the technique. I'm actually excited to try this one. The handle is insanely short on this thing. So pretty interesting stuff. I like to run bigger spinning reels, so it doesn't really bother me that the handle's so short on this thing. I'm interested in trying this one out myself. I'm happy to see a lot more stinger tip rods get recognition over here stateside because I think they offer the best of both worlds. That light line fishing ability with a lure, but you got power. It's not a little noodly ultralight rod. So cool stuff from Mega Bass and Cash in. Go shopping!
