This is a small jerkbait with small fins that make the bait swim up when you jerk it. This is a secret technique from the Japanese bass fishing market, this jig head is a little bit of a secret. This Japanese technique is called Mid-Strolling. This technique aims at the fish in the middle layer of the water. When I shake the bait it rolls in the water. For this technique I make a lot of rolls in a short distance, and the flashing attracts the fish and makes them bite. We have a normal weight Sakamata and a heavy weight. But on a jig head I prefer the normal weight. If I use the heavy weight, it doesn't need a weight to make it sink. This is good for deep fish and it is also easier for deep fish to find.
