Rapala's Newest Additions to the Crush City Lineup

Everyone bob downy here talking about the new crush city baits that we got coming out at icast here in 2024 We have five new shapes. I've used all these shapes for about I'd say five six months now Super happy with them. I'm just gonna breeze through them real quick first. We 've got the hedgehog So this is gonna be a really good Carolina rig bait I could also see throwing this on the back of a football jig for a little bit bigger profile More your creature style bait tons of different appendages. You can flip this bait in a dirty water situation, too I'd say it's more of a medium profile You know you see some bigger Crot or creature style baits this one's definitely more on that medium medium size So it's gonna be a good bite getter and we got a 2.5 inch mayor So we already have a 3 inch and a 4 inch mayor This 2.5 is gonna be a killer for smallmouth and spotted bass Slow rolling that thing whether it's deep shallow mid-range 2.5 is just it's a it's a size you need for smallmouth and spotted bass really looking forward to Throwing that here this summer more Next we got the mooched mineral this thing's already kind of been made popular on national tours here recently This is made of their TPE material. So it's a stretchy material It's gonna last a long time put it on a ball head jig a dab of super glue and you pretty much use the same bait all day long I've used it on a little jig head This actually can be used as kind of a finesty swim jig trailer or if some of you are into throwing mini max chatter bait You might want to check that one out. It's really cool bait next. We have the janitor. This is more of your finesse style worm I believe it's 6.75 inches We have a little slot in the middle for the VMC crossover band It's gonna be a great Niko rig worm and I could see drop shot in this for summertime largemouth to offshore So that's a janitor. This is a ox blood color. We've got in several different colors It's a really good finessy worm lastly we have the pig stick This is gonna be our stick worm a couple things. I like about that It does have the VMC crossover band slot in the middle much like the janitor Tons of different colors to fit all applications across country and lastly is The softness of this plastic not all stick worms are created equal Replited a really good job in terms of how soft this is and the action that it has as it sinks down in the water Which is super key in clear water situations when you're trying to pick off fin icky fish with a stick worm So those are the five new shapes that we got coming out at Icast With rappa and the crushed city lineup be sure to check them out I'm excited to put them to use here the rest of the year and see if we can't put some big bass in the boat with them You a (upbeat music) (sighs)
