Published: Updated:

6th Sense is known for their huge baits like the Panorama, but they're making a play at the finesse game and it's taking off! Try out the Party Minnow if you want a small FFS presentation.

This is the tackle breakdown of the 6th Sense Party Minnow 3.0. First off, I have to say, big surprise when I saw this bait land here in the back. We've got a bunch of fish catching colors in this thing. And 6th Sense is not exactly known for being a smallmouth or a finesse-y bait company, right? They're the big Texas largemouth company. And they've been kicking butt like crazy for a while now and been great partners of ours here at Omnia Fishing. And I know, obviously with some of their pro-staff acquisitions and things like that, that they've got their eyes on the north country up here. And even just your clear water fisheries throughout the south that have some smallmouth and spotted bass and even heavily pressured largemouth that need that finesse presentations. So this is one of their, they've got a bunch of forays into finesse fishing, but this is one of, to me, one of the most anticipated. This is a very soft minnow/swimbait presentation here, the Party Minnow. And the reason why I say minnow, even though it's got a boot tail and it's clearly a swimbait, is it's so soft and supple, surprisingly soft and supple, that this could be fished horizontally as well. This does not need to be fished just like a swim bait and being swam through the water column. You can drop shot this thing on a nose hook. You can put a ball head in it or any type of little finesse jig and damiki rig gered or hang a minnow or mope or hover you want to say it these days. But forward facing sonar fishing this as a minnow as well. Because it's so soft and it's a really, really, really realistic looking profile to it. I mean, let's face it, these are clear water colors and a clear water presentation or a heavily, heavily, heavily pressured fishery. I'm very impressed, was honestly, to be completely honest, surprised at how soft this thing was. This truly is a very impressive finesse minnow here. I think this thing's going to have a lot of traction.

One of the other things I think gets overlooked by a lot of people a lot of times is the packaging it comes in. So the Party Minnow here comes in a clamp pack, which I am a huge fan of. I know some people aren't because it takes up a ton of room, prevents how much you can put in a low, put a spot in your boat or your garage or truck or wherever you 're storing your plastics. But I'm a sucker for straight tails. I do not want to see kinks and bends and things that I think require perfect action at times especially in a finesse presentation like this. So I love the fact they protect the tails of the clamp pack, but look how small and compact this packaging is. Thanks for thinking about us, 6th Sense. This is a much smaller package than a lot of the competitions, clamp pack packaging is. So I can fit a whole bunch of these in the boat. So kudos to 6th Sense for thinking about us anglers when it came to a packaging here, the secure clamp packaging with the Party Minnow. All I got left to say is go party your ass off with the Party Minnow 3.0 from 6th Sense Fishing. (soft music)
