Fishing the deeper water yeilded me a few bites, I threw my creature bait on an unpegged Texas rig and the fish were eating it on the fall.

Pitching the jig around the edges of mats was really effective for me, a lot of fish were under there because those mats create shade.

Went around the lake looking for fish, sight fished this one by pitching a few feet away from it so he wouldn't spook

Skipping/pitching under docks was really effective for me at this lake. You want to thow a bait that creates a good vibration and is also in a dark color like Junebug so the fish can see it in the muddy water.

Fish were hiding under matted grass especially when there was algae over it, so I would cast my bait parallel to those lines. The fish would come out of the cover and eat it, a lot of the time you'd actually see the fish bite.

I found a few stretches of standing timber in the lake and decided to throw a swimbait on a weedless underspin. It was a cloudy day, so adding a bit of flash with the blade helped a lot I think.

Casting a pitching around grass edges in the deeper parts of the lake was really effective in the late afternoon. Fish were near the edges of the grass, not too far in

Burning a chatterbait through the pads and around the docks was the only way I got bit today. Tried dropshotting and throwing a jig around but reaction bite was the way to go
