Targeted the grass on the ledges and wherever we found grass we found bass. Mostly slow rolling medium diving crankbaits in natural colors. The dime had the most work during the day though.

Later in afternoon found this 18”, 3lb 6oz under a dock that had weed beds near it…good spot as water oxygen level would be higher…not much for weeds and structure in the lake..and large weedy areas held large concentrations of baitfish and bass

Pitching it around rock stumps and visible cover, just wanted it dragging on the bottom almost like a shakey head, but the hard bottom composition played a big factor on where I'd get the bites, as the silty/muck stuff was no bueno.

Letting it hang up in the thickest grass patches and shaking it/soft ripping it lose and they would just every so gentlely pick it up and swim off with it slowly.

West side of the lake. Clasping pond weed in 10 foot of water. Erratic retrieve with lipless crank baits. Drop shot also worked well today.

Overall pretty terrible night for us out on this lake. Just couldn't find quality fish. Caught a lot in the 13-13.5" range, but only three keepers all right at 1.2lbs. The big bag of the night went up in the shallows all the way around the south end of the lake and pulled 17lbs in. We hit the laydowns and docks around the west side of the lake for our keepers.
