Water visibility varies throughout the lake from 2'-5'. Boats have churned up the water and there is a lot of debris. This makes site fishing difficult to impossible. I put on a jerkbait to cover as much water as possible and did very well. Fish were really active and biting. Good day.

Alot of the Largemouth were still on beds but ended up catching this one near a boat by the dock. Flipped next to the boat and it smashed my bandito bug when I was about to reel it in. I was using the free rig with bandito bug. Bandito bug is deadly at liberty lake!

Was a tough day for bites. But this Big girl came out from under a dock and snatched the chatter bait. Also caught a few small ones on Texas rig and a Tiger Muskie on a crank bait

The bass are still hanging around their beds and roaming around. Pitching the black blue bandito bug with a free rig weight. Tossed up along the side of the dock and whammo!!! I have to admit that the new Shimano Mastiff Fluorocarbon is absolutely amazing when setting the hook and keeping them hooked!

Fish are in full Spawn. This large mouth was under a log on a bed. Very aggressive strike. Caught other small mouth on open beds where their bite was much more subtle and they were a lot more skitterish.

Trout stocked lake. Usually anything that can resemble a trout will get worked on here. Magdraft and Spinnerbait put in the work!

While everyone else is up shallow looking for bedding fish, the big females are offshore. Find deeper seedbeds in 10’-12’ of water near the spawning flats. Throw a perch colored Money Badger. It’s the absolute best crankbait, hands down. Just reel or just a speed crank / pause cadence. The new Shimano Mastiff line pairs so well with these crankbaits. It is so abrasions resistant and lets you pull that lure through brush and cover without any worries about getting snapped off.

Fish were on the beds. Fishing conditions were tough with wind and low water visibility. Found some big mamas under some docks. Day started rough but picked up and ended well. Lot of Bass! 🤙

As the water keeps getting warmer the bass are going to be moving shallow. Found this bass under a dock and it was a great fight! Flipped a bandito bug on a free rig. New technique and I like it!

Caught 6 bass over 3.5 lbs. 2 over 4. None of the fish were on Beds but just hanging close to them. This Fish was off a ledge and I think still in the prespawn. No spawning marks on Fish. Beautiful in fact. Lake has turned over with the extreme change from cold to hot Weather temps. Fish are very skitterish therefore we were long casting to them instead of short pitches on top of them.
