Found fish tight to cover after the rain. Kept getting snagged with anything that wasn't rigged weedless.

Tough day. Got a few fish on the crankbait but mostly crappie and pickerel. Lost a lot of fish on both hard and soft jerkbaits. The fish were at scattered depths on different parts of the lake.

Water temperatures warmed up a little. Got one on a point with a chatter bait. Missed a couple bites with the chatterbait so I switched over to a squarebill and caught another before I had to leave.

The weeds are in full effect now. Fished around them with topwater but did not get a bite. Switched to a chatterbait and caught some between the shore and the floating mats. Fished the AM from about 5:30-7:30

Fished from 9 pm to 1230 am. 6 small bass were caught on loon whopper plopper. 1 was caught on on a bluegill colored chatterbait elite. All fish were small. Had to downsize from 1/2 oz swim jig and whopper plopper 130 to catch fish.

It seemed to me that the bass were in a prespawn funk. Got 2 largemouth on the dark sleeper, one on a swim jig with a keitech trailer and a smallmouth at dusk on a 3xd crankbait. The bass seemed to be on the first drop away from the bank.

Caught 8 bass in about 7 hours. Fished around rock piles with the little lighthouses with topwater in the early morning. Caught a bass but had many short strikes. Followed up with the TRD green pumpkin goby and successfully landed some fish there. Had the same experience around docks and landed some fish on the little ned rig up to 18.75" long. Threw a 3/8 chatterbait with a swimming trailer around the docks towards the backs of "creek arms" as well with moderate success (2 fish)

Topwater did well around laydowns on points, especially around the islands. Was a quick morning trip. 3 bass were caught using topwater, all hit hard with no short strikes, and one was caught on a wacky rigged Senko thrown near the base of the laydown.

Very little weeds pre spawn and spawn. Jig the banks here to try hit largemouth on the bedding. Take your time with your jig, fish are not as active this time of year in this pond. Slow and steady retrieval with stops of popping jig up and down will give you best chance.

Lots of submerged vegetation post spawn. Recommend using soft plastic baits (senko and fluke seem to hit best). Brighter colors seem to attract the fish here. Early mornings 5am-12pm or later nights 5:30pm-Sundown. Fish along all banks of pond especially near downed structures (fallen trees).
