The Large Females are moving shallow and moving into the shallow trees as-well as in isolated gras patches in 6 feet of water. Big largemouth will start moving into the shallows within the week. The fish are targeting more bluegill and crayfish this time of year and darker colors like green pumpkin are producing the best. My key bait today was a Z-man jackhammer reeling over shallow flats or near wood.

Water Temps was 63 degrees. Clear skies very little wind. Nice calm day. Water visibility was between 6 to 24 inches. Most caught flipping grass cover or cranking with a square bill with a fast steady retrieve. When running topwater best reactions were with slight pause with a slow retrieve. When fishing a fluke slight twitches with long paused using a weed less straight shank hook was the best when running hook through the tips of the flukes.

Water temp 67 degrees. Nice cloud cover with light breeze. Running a fluke white pearl with Mustad red 1/0 shank. Worked it with a slight twice with 5 second pause on retrieve worked amazing today. Landed 8 decent size large mouth. Today's high weight 4lb 2oz. Running a strike king KVD 4s 2' to 5' also had some success with a fast retrieve triggering strikes for those aggressive bass.

Windy up to 60 mph. Water Temps in the low 60s today other then yesterday in the high 50s. Best luck pulling off opposite shore pulling back making your presentation more natural. Using using darling colors helped with catches today with sunny conditions. Really choppy today only may 3 catches today on top water. That's what I was practicing today to to work with the weather conditions and seeing how they affected the catch.

Water Temps high 50s. Choppy water windy conditions. Best succes was casting passed target areas such as lay downs. Bass are still spawning a bit not all. Grassy areas and casing into grass pockets helped to. When popping using a long paused worked as well. Can also catch catfish in this lake.

Water Temps in the low 50s. Throwing away from shore line works great had most success letting the crank dive through the rocks drawing out my catches. Had a little success flipping in the brush. The water is fairly clear.

Water Temps my colder this week sitting at around 75 degrees. Flipping grass and bushes are a great tip. You can even run top water along the damn. Top water seem to be a better solution this week.

Water Temps are in the mid 90s. It's a struggle with the temperatures up so high. Most were caught flipping structures and and bushes. No luck running top water. Flipping jigs seemed to work as well.

Water Temps up to 82 degrees calm water. Throughout the morning great fishing on the boat ramps and the vegetation. Fill Port from the plant has alot to offer as well. Running top water seems to be most affective.
